ESEA Reauthorization Webinar with the U.S. Department of Education
The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards hosted a Webinar on April 1, 2010, about the“Blueprint for Reform,” the Obama Administration’s proposed framework for the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (in its current form, “No Child Left Behind”). Department officials leading the briefing included Judy Wurtzel, deputy assistant secretary of the office of planning evaluation and policy development, NBCT Jason Raymond, teacher ambassador, and NBCT Steven Hicks, a special assistant on early learning with the U.S. Department of Education.
