NBCTs: Participate in National Day on Writing

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards is serving as a national partner in the National Council of Teachers of English’s National Gallery of Writing. NBPTS is accepting submissions from National Board Certified Teachers about the Five Core Propositions.

All 74,000 NBCTs are encouraged to become part of history by submitting their reflections to this site.

Entrees can take any form of writing or media including but not limited to essays, poems, short stories, journal entries, letters, lists, dramatizations, narratives, lyrics, pictures, drawings, or audio or video clips no longer than three minutes. 

All galleries will be open on Oct. 20, 2009, the National Day on Writing, and will remain open until June 30, 2010. NBCTs are encouraged to view the NBPTS Partner Gallery. Submissions will be accepted through June 1, 2010.
