Score Release - Accessing Your Scores

2008-2009 NBPTS Candidates: Scores results are now available!

We are pleased to inform you that you are now able to access and view your scores mid-morning on Friday, November 20, 2009.

Please view the What's New for Score Release 2009 section for additional information.

How to Access and View Your Scores

On Friday, November 20, your scores will be accessible only to you via a secure web site.  Visit the NBPTS web site and click on the link provided to view your official score report. In order to access this site, make sure you have three important personal identifiers available:

    • Social security number
    • Date of birth
    • Candidate ID number

You will only be able to access your scores through the secure site if NBPTS has your correct social security number and date of birth on file. We encourage you to go to My Profile prior to November 20 to make sure your information is current.

How to Update Your Social Security Number and Date of Birth

If you never provided your social security number, you can update it any time in My Profile.  If you find that the social security number and/or date of birth NBPTS has on file is incorrect, you can fax an enlarged copy of your social security card, driver’s license and/or birth certificate, along with a written request containing your signature to 1-888-811-3514.

Where to Locate Your Candidate ID Number

Due to the large volume of phone inquiries we anticipate on November 20, here are two easy ways to locate your ID without having to call a customer support representative:

    • Go to My Profile
    • Find it on any remaining barcode labels from your portfolio kit or correspondence from NBPTS

Tips for Score Release Day

Due to expected high traffic on the NBPTS web site on November 20, you may receive an error while trying to access your scores, or it may take the NBPTS web site longer to load than usual.  If this does occur, please allow a short period of time to pass before trying to access your scores again.

We recognize your hard work and dedication to the teaching profession and wish you the best of luck now and in your continued pursuit of teaching excellence.
