Submitting Your Portfolio

It is critical that all National Board Certification candidates read and follow the guidelines and recommendations for successful portfolio submission. Below, you will find information regarding the submission deadlines and answers to the most commonly asked questions surrounding the portfolio submission. Additional information can be found in our general FAQs.

Submission Deadlines

New NBPTS policy is to accept submissions according to the postmark date and not the "received by" date. Your submission must be postmarked by:

  • First-time candidates – March 31, 2012
  • Retake Candidates – April 15, 2012
