National Board Certification is a nationally accepted sign of quality in the teaching profession and offers a nationwide standard for evaluating and encouraging quality teaching. It is a way to recognize and reward the accomplished teachers we need to build competitive, world-class schools.

Write a Letter to the Editor about the Importance of National Board Certified Teachers in Our Schools

Contacting your local media can be a quick, simple and effective way to get the word out about National Board Certification and its impact on your community schools. Review National Board Certification research (PDF - 291kb) and data to enhance your letter or e-mail.

 

The Florida House and Senate have proposed major cuts to the National Board Certification program. The proposals are now in the conference committee comprised of House and Senate members appointed by the leadership.
