The American Petroleum Institute has generously provided funding for a limited number of scholarships to pay for 2007 conference registration fees for math and science teachers who teach in schools where 51 percent or more of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Apply for a scholarship.
We also recommend speaking with your school or school district to inquire if there are professional development funds available to help cover these expenses. You might also consider approaching the PTA for assistance.
