  1. When I called to schedule my appointment, I was told I was not in the system. Why?
  2. An Authorization to Test will be mailed to you after you have been declared eligible to test. You become eligible to test once your Eligibility Verification Forms have been returned and processed, and your full payment has been received. You can check the status of your eligibility in My Profile or by calling 1-800-22TEACH.

  3. When will retake candidates be able to schedule their appointment?
  4. Retake candidates test in the January 5 - June 15 testing window. The application for retake candidates not awaiting score release is expected to be available in late 2008. For candidates awaiting score release, the retake application for eligible candidates will be available with the score report.

  5. How should retake candidates schedule their appointment?
  6. Retake candidates may schedule their assessment center appointment online or by calling the Pearson Vue Call Center at (888)288-3028. Please be sure to have your ATT handy so you can provide your name and candidate ID number exactly as they appear on your ATT.

*Note that Music and WLOE candidates, and candidates with approved testing accommodations, must schedule their appointments via telephone.

  7. What should I do if I have read the FAQs, but I am still having trouble making an appointment?
  8. If you are still having difficulty scheduling, please call 1-800-22TEACH. To expedite the process, note any specific reasons you were told before making your call.
