My Profile

  1. How do I access my candidate information through My Profile?
  2. How can I print a receipt of payments submitted?

  1. How do I access my candidate information through My Profile?
  2.  

    In order to access your information, follow these steps:

    • Go to the NBPTS Web site
    • Select the For Candidates tab
    • Select My Profile from the menu
    • Login to My Profile

    If you do not remember your User Name and/or Password, select the RESET PASSWORD link to reset your Password and retrieve your User Name. If you experience difficulties, you may call 1-888-780-7805 to speak with one of our representatives for assistance.


  3. How can I print a receipt of payments submitted?
  4. Login to My Profile and select Fees & Payments. Under the Account Summary and Details is the Print Receipt button. This is considered an official receipt for all funds paid.


  5. How can I make a payment after my application is submitted and what are the options?
  6. To make an online payment, follow these steps:

     

    • Login to My Profile
    • Select Fees & Payments
    • Scroll down to Details
    • Select Make a Payment
    • Select Print a Receipt if you want a receipt

    Besides e-checks and credit card payments, candidates may submit personal checks, cashier's checks, or money orders.


  7. If I ask NBPTS to make updates to my personal information, is there a charge?
  8. No. Please note, however, when you login to My Profile, you have the ability to make many updates yourself.


  9. What information can I update in My Profile?
  10. Candidates can update all contact information and the "release name" elective. All other changes should be submitted in an online inquiry through your NBPTS Inbox - Ask NBPTS, faxed to 1-888-811-3514, or mailed to:

    Include your name and your NBPTS ID number and clearly state the changes you wish to be made. Valid documentation (a clear copy of your photo ID/driver's license enlarged 200 percent) must be submitted with all name change requests.


  11. I am an NBCT and need to update my information. How can I do this?
  12. Simply login to My Profile to review and update your personal information.


  13. I forgot my User Name and/or Password. How can I log into My Profile?
  14. Use the link RESET PASSWORD on the My Profile page to reset your password and retrieve your user name.
