ESEA Reauthorization

The National Board joins the Obama Administration in embracing the challenge of transforming the nation’s lowest performing schools. The National Board offers several recommendations for the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary School Act (ESEA).

Congressional Bills

Congress can support National Board programs and teacher excellence in a variety of ways: merit pay, teacher incentives in high-need areas and professional development, to name a few.
