Louisiana is pleased to announce that funding is available to help offset the cost of the assessment fee. This funding is made possible through a Federal and State Subsidy grant from the United States Department of Education. • Legislation (RS 17:421.6)provides eligible National Board Certified Teachers with a $5,000 per year stipend for the life of the certificate. In addition, eligible teachers certified by the National Board who subsequently move into school administrative positions in a public school district will also receive the stipend.
