New Voices, New Visions: Teaching for Tomorrow, Today
Share your voice and your vision about accomplished teaching. Learn tomorrow's teaching strategies -- today! Join fellow educators at the 2009 NBPTS Conference and Exposition in Atlanta, July 15-18, 2009.
National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs), Take One! participants, and other education stakeholders from across the country will gather in Atlanta to learn what is working in the classroom and in schools, hear from education leaders, improve candidate support skills and network with peers.
Pre-conference workshops begin July 15. Conference sessions kick off the afternoon of July 16 and continue through July 18. Sessions will be set in strands based on the NBPTS Five Core Propositions. Strands are:
- Engaging Students and Families in Learning
- Knowledge + Instructional Strategies = Learning
- Monitoring Learning, Measuring Progress
- Reflecting and Collaborating for Success
- Leading Beyond the Classroom
The early bird conference registration fee will be $295 for the conference itself, with additional charges for the pre-conference institutes--including the all-new Candidate Support Provider training! Plan now to attend this exciting event!
